We need an app, not a squeezed website
Native apps use the phone’s own systems: notifications, secure storage, health data, spoken labels. We build to those, so the app feels like it belongs on the device.
Mobile apps
A daily need can become an app people keep. We design and build native iOS apps and take them all the way to the App Store. Android is part of the plan for our own apps.
Start a projectNative apps use the phone’s own systems: notifications, secure storage, health data, spoken labels. We build to those, so the app feels like it belongs on the device.
The interface should ask less of them. Larger text, VoiceOver, light and dark themes and reduced-motion options are part of the first build, not a later pass.
Sometimes the right app is a thin, well-made shell around a dashboard that already works on small screens. We spend the effort on connection, navigation and recovery instead of copying every control.
Credentials go in secure device storage. Health data is read through the platform with the user’s permission. Any outside AI service sits behind our server, not inside the app.
A self-hosted server has no single address. We support local addresses, private networks and HTTPS domains, and give a clear way to retry or change the address when a connection fails.
We have, more than once. We take the build through to release.
Designed and built for iPhone, with the platform’s own accessibility and notification features.
A phone or tablet front end for a product you already run.
VoiceOver labels, larger text, reduced-motion alternatives and light and dark themes.
Local reminders, secure credential storage and Apple Health.
The server side an app needs, such as a chat connection that keeps an AI service behind a boundary.
Build, submission and release, handled as part of the project.
A calm, accessible tool that is honest about what it is and is not.
A mobile companion without a second product to maintain.
A way to check and manage a server from a phone or tablet.
A first version real people can try, built to be extended.
We start with the moment of use: who is holding the phone, what they need done, and what could get in the way.
We design the smallest set of screens that does the job, and the states people forget, such as offline, failed and empty.
We build native, test with the phone’s accessibility tools on, and keep the promise of the product precise. Every change is checked for quality and security, and every release is recorded automatically.
We take the app through App Store release and stay on for the updates that follow.
A native iOS wellness app on the App Store, with breathing, grounding, reminders, VoiceOver support and Apple Health.
An iOS companion on the App Store that connects to your own server and handles every address type.
A tablet companion for iPad and Android tablets, still in the lab.
Our released apps are on iOS. For our own work, Android is planned for one app and in development for a tablet companion. Tell us what your users carry and we will say honestly how we would approach it.
Yes, and often it is the better choice. A companion around an existing responsive interface keeps one source of truth and puts the effort where phones differ.
You do, outright. Whatever you pay us to build is yours, with full rights and the complete source code, and it can be published under your own App Store account.
We stay on for updates, fixes and the next version, the way we do for our own apps.
